Welcome to QuizVidya! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the QuizVidya website and services (“Service”), operated by Joras Technologies LLC, a New Jersey Limited Liability Company. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Purpose of the Service

QuizVidya is an educational platform designed to help students prepare for IAC competitions through practice questions, explanations, and related content. The Service is intended solely for quiz preparation and educational enrichment. QuizVidya does not guarantee any specific ranking, qualification, or award. Parents and students acknowledge that competition outcomes depend on personal effort, preparation, and external competition factors.

2. Eligibility and Account Creation

Only parents or legal guardians (18+) may register as a Parent Account holder.
Each parent may create and manage one or more associated Child Accounts.
Children under 13 may use the Service only after a Parent Account is created. Quiz results are handled in accordance with COPPA’s internal-operations exception.
Parents are responsible for their child’s activity and compliance with these Terms.

3. Accounts and Access

You are responsible for maintaining confidentiality of your credentials and all activity under your account.
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.
Seasonal data may be deleted at the end of each competition season (after August).

4. Paid Access

Each competition season runs from September through the following August.
All sales are final and non-refundable. Please use the Free plan before upgrading.
Because full content access is granted immediately after payment, refunds cannot be issued once a plan is activated.
You may upgrade between plans by paying the price difference. Access automatically ends at the close of the season.

5. Free Access

Free access provides a limited selection of study materials and ends in July of each season.

6. User Conduct

Prohibited Uses:

Scraping, copying, or automating access to any part of the Service.
Using bots, scripts, or unauthorized tools to collect or download data.
Attempting to reverse engineer, overload, or disrupt the platform.
Interfering with service performance or attempting to bypass security controls.

7. Intellectual Property

The QuizVidya platform and related materials are owned by Joras Technologies LLC. The question content is owned by International Academic Competitions (IAC). You may not reproduce, distribute, or use content except through the Service.

8. Termination

Violation of these Terms may result in suspension or termination of your account. Joras Technologies reserves the right to suspend, terminate, or restrict access for any misuse, fraud, or technical abuse.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant uninterrupted access or error-free performance. Speech recognition and AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies and are intended for educational use only.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Joras Technologies LLC, its partners, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including travel, lodging, registration fees, or lost opportunities. Your sole and exclusive remedy for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount paid for access during the current competition season.

11. No Guarantee of Results

QuizVidya is a study and practice tool intended to support preparation. Joras Technologies LLC does not guarantee that use of the Service will lead to any particular outcome, ranking, or qualification. By purchasing or using the Service, you acknowledge that you are not relying on any representation of success.

12. Dispute Resolution and Class Action Waiver

All disputes or claims arising from or related to these Terms shall be resolved on an individual basis, not as part of any class or group action. You agree to resolve disputes through small-claims court or binding arbitration in the State of New Jersey. Each party shall bear its own legal costs unless otherwise required by law.

13. Privacy

We collect and use information as described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to our data practices.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Material updates will be shown by a new “Last Updated” date. Continued use or payment after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
